That big bottle-shaped thick plastic, a gift to you from my colleague a long time ago, finally came in handy. Curiously, it stuck to the fridge door like a magnet. The grid mummy drew on it would be a tally of your daily behavior ratings – if you behaved yourself, you would be recognized with a star; otherwise, you'd be disgraced with a cross. Of course, the whole concept was for fun, but you'd have your heart set on stars. Below the grid you drew a bespectacled man – you said that was daddy – and two suns, which you dubbed daddy sun and mummy sun.

那块瓶子形状的又大又厚的塑料是很久之前一个同事给你的礼物，现在终于派上了用场。很奇特，它就像磁铁一样能附着在冰箱门上。妈妈在上面画了一个表格，用来记录对你每天表现的评价的。如果你表现好，就会给你画个星，否则就画个叉，象征着丢人。当然，这是一种游戏，不过你肯定会当真，希望得到星。你在格子下面画了一个戴眼镜的人，你说那是爸爸，还画了两个太阳，你叫它们为爸爸太阳和妈妈太阳。
