“互联网+”时代的英语学习：self-reliant

英译汉式的“英语阅读”或“英语学习”(if any at all)永远只认识：这个英语的中文意思是什么 and nothing more(记得以前大学时一位漂亮的女同学拒绝某男追求时说的一句同样“漂亮”英语：We're friends and nothing more)。

“互联网+”时代学习英语就大相径庭了：从一个英语你可以获得更多英语，而且多半还是你已知的学过的英语(从来没想到这英语原来就是我学过的英语！)。

在“学”英语中“用”了英语，所谓英语“学以致用”说的正是这道理。

一、我们来看看self-reliant

1)查英英字典，或英英synonym字典：

Yahoo self-reliant synonym

synonyms：

self-sufficient,self-supporting,self-sustaining,self-standing,able to stand on one's own two feet,self-contained,independent,self-made

这里出现的都是“单词对单词”模式的“英语理解”，出现了大量我们已知的学过的英语(温故知新)

2) 如果我们不想只要单词，而是想要一句完整的英语句子想练习“英语口语”，我们可以查Collins dictionary：Yahoo self-reliant define collins

字典这么告诉你：If you are self-reliant, you are able to do things and make decisions by yourself, without needing other people to help you.

这句话就是一句很好的“英语口语”！

二、彻底摒弃“英译汉”式英语学习(if any at all)，用“英译英”式英语学习，练习英语口语：

1.Okay.I got you.If you are self-reliant, you are/you can also say/you mean You're able to do things and make decisions by yourself, without needing other people to help you.

记住这句英语口语比记住它的中文意思困难的多。这就是你拒绝“英译英”式英语学习的“理由”吗？

2.Okay.I got you.If you are/you say you're self-reliant, you mean/you can also say you're self-sufficient,you're independent,you're self-supporting,you're self-sustaining,yoy're self-standing, you're able to stand on your own two feet,or you're self-contained.

把这些“高中级别”的英语“说好”，它是不是“英语口语？”
